Class Description
In this three-part cooking series, students will explore Asian-inspired home cooking traditions through food, stories, and hands-on kitchen skills. Each class highlights respectful cultural context, teamwork, and creativity while building confidence in the kitchen. Recipes are thoughtfully adapted for youth cooks, focusing on balance, fresh ingredients, and cultural appreciation—not imitation. Some of the main entrees will in chicken fried rice, Thai stir fry, veggie lo-mein noodles and fresh spring rolls. Students will: Learn basic knife and kitchen safety skills Explore cultural food traditions with respect and curiosity Practice teamwork and time management Enjoy cooking, sharing, and reflecting together
