Class Description

Step into the kitchen and discover the power of food as medicine! This October, join the Tiwahe Program for a three-day hands-on cooking workshop designed just for young chefs. Under the guidance of a cooking instructor, you’ll sharpen your sous chef skills while learning to prepare hearty, healthy soups, sandwiches, and wraps that fuel both body and spirit. But that’s not all—students will also have the special honor of serving their creations as a light evening meal to Ute adults participating in the Beading and Belt-Making class. This unique opportunity connects generations through food, creativity, and community. Why Join? - Learn cooking techniques you can use at home - Explore fresh, nutritious ingredients rooted in wellness - Build confidence in the kitchen while working as a team - Share your creations with the Ute community Come cook, create, and celebrate the joy of food with us! Spaces are limited— so sign up today to reserve your apron through this link http://ProjectPeak.org or scan the QR code to register.
